It’s time to ditch the grocery store almond butter! This recipe is SO easy and simple that it just seems silly to be wasting money on store bought almond butter. Not to mention this recipe has added superfoods, warming spices and it’s naturally sweetened. Creamy, smooth almond-cashew butter, the perfect comforting spread.

Add almonds, cashews, hemp seeds, chia seeds, cinnamon and sea salt to a food processor. Process for about 30 seconds. The almonds and cashews should turn to smaller pieces. Then add remaining ingredients and process until smooth. It will take quite a while to process until smooth. Scrape down the sides every so often and let it continue to process. If it overheats, allow it to cool then scrape down sides and repeat. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.

Ingredients:
2C raw almonds
1C raw cashew pieces
2 tbsp hemp hearts
2 tbsp chia seeds
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp sea salt
3 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp coconut oil
½ tsp vanilla extract
