I was in need of a little detox this Monday morning after a weekend of indulgence. So first thing this morning I juiced celery, cucumber, ginger and lemon. This juice is super hydrating, aids digestion if you’re feeling any bloat/indigestion and helps to detox the liver. Added bonus: it helps boost immunity and makes your skin glow!

When juicing it’s best to use all organic ingredients. Since you’re consuming a large amount of raw veggies and fruit you want to make sure to lower your pesticide exposure. The idea of juicing is to help supplement, support or detox your body therefore you want to ensure you’re not counteracting by adding chemical residues.
First make sure all veggies and fruit are thoroughly rinsed. Chop and discard tops and bottoms of celery and cucumber. Cut ginger and lemon in half. Remove the skin from the lemon. Using a juicer, juice each item. If you don’t have a juicer you can use a high speed blender and then strain through cheese cloth or nut milk bag. Now you’re ready to sip away!

1 Cucumber
2-3 inch Ginger
½ a lemon
