The warm weather has arrived and that means smoothie bowls are going to be my go-to breakfast. So be prepared to see a whole lot of beautiful smoothie bowl recipes! But you cannot enjoy a smoothie bowl without granola. So I quickly whipped up a basic granola that will go well with every flavour of smoothie bowl. Here is my simple but delicious granola recipe.

Preheat the oven to 320F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Using a large mixing bowl add rolled oats, almonds, chia seeds, cinnamon, vanilla powder and sea salt. Mix well so everything is incorporated.
Using a small sauce pan add maple syrup and coconut. Turn the burner on low and slowly heat to melt the coconut oil. Around 5 minutes or so. Once melted, remove from heat.
Add maple syrup and coconut oil to the large mixing bowl with oats. Mix everything well. Then add the granola to the baking sheet and bake for 20 mins. Then mix again and bake for another 20 mins. Your granola should come out golden brown.
