Both my baby and my husband got sick this week so I thought the household needed a little immunity support. This soup helps reduce inflammation, supports your gut health to help flush out any toxins and it’s packed with vitamin c, zinc and antioxidants. I think that’s just what the doctor ordered if you ask me. Unlike buckleys it’s packed with flavour!

Using a large pot add avocado oil, minced garlic, chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Cook on stove top at medium heat for about 5 minutes. Then add Italian seasoning, sea salt and pepper. Sauté for another two minutes. Then add bone and chicken broth and lemon juice. Bring to a boil then reduce to simmer and add the orzo pasta. Cook for 5 minutes. Lastly, add the chopped chicken thighs and cook for another 5 minutes. Let cool slightly before serving.

1 tbsp avocado oil
2 minced garlic
½ diced white onion
3 diced carrots
4 diced celery stalks
1 tsp of italian seasoning
¼ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp black pepper
3 cups of chicken bone broth
3 cups of chicken broth
1 juice of a lemon
¾C of orzo pasta
4-6 chopped cooked chicken thighs
