This drink has been my summer obsession! So creamy and delicious. For my Canadian friends if you haven’t tried Spade and Spoons jams, you must. Made with whole, clean ingredients with a variety of flavours to choose from. I love using their low sugar strawberry jam for my matchas! If you don’t have access to these jams, no worries just choose your favourite strawberry jam.

First make the strawberry layer. Scoop 2 tablespoons of strawberry jam and add it to a 16oz glass. Using a spoon spread the jam a ¼ of the way up the glass. Add ice to the glass. Next prepare the matcha. Sift the matcha into a small bowl. Add 2 ½ tbsp of hot water and whisk in a zigzag motion until frothy. Now pour 1 cup of milk into the glass. Then slowly pour the whisked matcha. Stir and enjoy!
Ingredients:
2 tbsp strawberry jam ( I used spade and spoon low sugar strawberry jam)
1C whole milk or milk of your choice
