We are summertime sippin’ with my favourite iced coffee recipe. I have a hard time justifying buying my ice coffee from a cafe when at home it is just simply healthier and better! Caffeine mixed with simple sugars is the quickest way to spike our sugar levels and ultimately lead to an afternoon crash. Pairing your coffee with a healthy fat and protein will help slow down the metabolism of sugar leading to no spikes and no crashes. Keeping your body satisfied, energized and feeling good, so we can sip, sip and enjoy!

Using a blend, mix the milk, almond butter, collagen, maple syrup and cinnamon. Pour into a glass filled ¾ of the way with ice. Then add 1/4c of coffee or 1 shot of espresso.
Ingredients:
½ C almond milk or milk of your choice
1/4C coffee
½ tbsp almond butter or coconut butter
1 scoop collagen
½ tbsp maple syrup
¼ tsp cinnamon
